„Lärm – Populismus ist laut, aber mehr nicht“ ist ein Kurzfilm aus dem Jahr 2024 von Lorenz Baier.
Das laute Knacken einer Karotte durchbricht die ruhige Arbeitsatmosphäre einer Bibliothek. Der Mann blickt verschmitzt in die verärgerten Gesichter der anderen Besucher. Diese Provokation führt zu einer Auseinandersetzung, in der sich die anderen Gäste auf eine der beiden Seiten schlagen. Am Ende erhalten wir einen Überblick über die absurde Situation: Mitten in der sonst so ruhigen Bibliothek hat sich eine klischeehafte Grillgruppe von Stammgästen gebildet, die lautstark ihre Standpunkte vertreten.

“Lärm – Populismus ist laut, aber mehr nicht” (Noise – Populism is loud, but that's all) is a short film from 2024 by Lorenz Baier.
The loud cracking sound of a carrot breaks through the quiet working atmosphere of a library. The man looks mischievously at the annoyed faces of the other visitors. This provocation leads to an argument in which the other guests join one of the two camps. In the end, we get an overview of the absurd situation: in the middle of the otherwise quiet library, a clichéd barbecue group of regulars has formed, banging out their points of view.
