‘The Man In Grey’ is a 1943 melodrama film directed by Leslie Arliss. The screenplay by Margaret Kennedy and Leslie Arliss is based on the 1941 novel of the same name by Eleanor Smith in an adaptation by Doreen Montgomery.

After a brutish, hedonistic Marquis marries a pretty young Clarissa to act as a ‘brood sow,’ he begins an affair with her friend, who plots to take her place.
