“Little Red Riding Hood” is a 1922 animated short film directed by Walt Disney. The screenplay by Walt Pfeiffer is based on the fairy tale “Le Petit Chaperon rouge” by Charles Perrault respectively “Rothkäppchen“ by the Brothers Grimm.

Mother is making donuts: She throws up a circle of dough, and a cat shoots a hole in it. Later, he fishes them out of the oil with a fishing line; he eats one, and loses all nine lives. Mother puts together a basket for Red to take to Granny. Red uses her cart, which is pushed by her little dog; the cart gets a flat tire, and she inflates a donut to replace it. A wolf (a human lothario) drives by in a flivver, and dashes off to Grandma’s house, where he finds a note saying she’s gone to the movies. He shrinks his car and stashes it in his pocket, then waits for Red, who stopped to watch a dancing flower. Red arrives, and they go into the house, where he attempts to have his way with her. The dog rushes off and gets help from an airplane pilot, who uses a skyhook to remove the house and, ultimately, lift the wolf in his car and drop him in the lake. (Jon Reeves jreeves @ imdb.com)

Mutter backt Kuchen: Sie wirft einen Teigkreis in die Luft, und eine Katze schießt ein Loch hinein. Später fischt er sie mit einer Angelschnur aus dem Öl; er isst einen und verliert alle neun Leben. Mutter packt einen Korb für Rotkäppchen, den sie zu ihrer Großmutter bringen soll. Rotkäppchen benutzt ihren Karren, der von ihrem kleinen Hund gezogen wird; der Karren hat einen platten Reifen, und sie bläst einen Donut auf, um ihn zu ersetzen. Ein Wolf (ein menschlicher Frauenheld) fährt in einem alten Auto vorbei und rast zu Omas Haus, wo er eine Nachricht findet, dass sie ins Kino gegangen ist. Er verkleinert sein Auto und versteckt es in seiner Tasche, dann wartet er auf Rotkäppchen, die angehalten hat, um eine tanzende Blume zu beobachten. Rotkäppchen kommt an, und sie gehen ins Haus, wo er versucht, sich an ihr zu vergehen. Der Hund rennt los und holt Hilfe von einem Flugzeugpiloten, der mit einem Skyhook das Haus entfernt und schließlich den Wolf in seinem Auto hochhebt und ihn in den See fallen lässt.
