«Coral Colors» es un impresionante vídeo time-lapse que capta los movimientos de formaciones de coral de colores vivos. El vídeo ha sido creado por la productora myLapse, con sede en Barcelona.

En este vídeo queríamos mostrar el movimiento y la enorme belleza cromática de los corales, unos seres marinos que, aunque se cuentan entre los animales más antiguos de nuestro planeta, siguen siendo en gran medida desconocidos.

Descubre su sorprendente belleza, su espectacular gama de colores y el misterio de sus movimientos.
Para capturar estas imágenes fue necesario recurrir a la técnica del time-lapse, ya que resulta muy difícil percibir a simple vista los lentos movimientos de estos animales.
El uso de objetivos macro nos permite acercarnos lo suficiente como para admirar la inmensa variedad cromática de las diferentes especies.

Para este vídeo se tomaron más de 25 000 fotografías a lo largo de aproximadamente un año.

Esperamos que, con este trabajo, hayamos contribuido un poco a que las noticias sobre la Gran Barrera de Coral —una de las maravillas naturales del mundo, amenazada por el calentamiento global y los grandes proyectos industriales del Gobierno australiano— no pasen del todo desapercibidas.

‘Coral Colors’ is a stunning time-lapse video that captures the movements of vibrantly coloured coral formations. The video was created by the Barcelona-based production company myLapse.

In this video, we wanted to showcase the movement and the stunning colours of corals – marine creatures that, whilst among the oldest animals on our planet, remain largely unknown.

Discover their surprising beauty, their spectacular colours and the mystery of their movements.
Time-lapse photography was necessary to capture these images, as it is very difficult to perceive the slow movements of these creatures with the naked eye.
The use of macro lenses allows us to get close enough to admire the immense variety of colours found in the different species.

More than 25,000 photographs were taken over a period of about a year for this video.

We hope that, with this work, we have made a small contribution to ensuring that news about the Great Barrier Reef – one of the world’s natural wonders, which is under threat from global warming and the Australian government’s large-scale industrial projects – does not go entirely unnoticed.

„Coral Colors“ ist ein atemberaubendes Zeitraffervideo, das die Bewegungen farbenprächtiger Korallenformationen einfängt. Das Video wurde von der in Barcelona ansässigen Produktionsfirma myLapse erstellt.

In diesem Video wollten wir die Bewegung und die enorme farbliche Schönheit der Korallen zeigen – Meereslebewesen, die zwar zu den ältesten Tieren unseres Planeten gehören, aber dennoch weitgehend unbekannt sind.

Entdecken Sie ihre überraschende Schönheit, ihre spektakuläre Farbpracht und das Geheimnis ihrer Bewegungen.
Um diese Bilder aufzunehmen, war die Zeitraffertechnik erforderlich, da es sehr schwierig ist, die langsamen Bewegungen dieser Tiere mit bloßem Auge wahrzunehmen.
Der Einsatz von Makroobjektiven ermöglicht uns einen ausreichend nahen Blick, um die immense Farbvielfalt der verschiedenen Arten bewundern zu können.

Für dieses Video wurden über einen Zeitraum von etwa einem Jahr mehr als 25.000 Fotos aufgenommen.

Wir hoffen, dass wir mit dieser Arbeit einen kleinen Beitrag dazu geleistet haben, dass die Nachrichten über das Great Barrier Reef – eines der Naturwunder der Welt, das durch die globale Erwärmung und die industriellen Großprojekte der australischen Regierung gefährdet ist – nicht ganz so unbemerkt bleiben.
