„Follower“ ist ein Kurzfilmthriller aus dem Jahr 2018 von Jonathan Behr nach einem Drehbuch von Simon Schulz.

Clara Reichert möchte eigentlich nur einen entspannten Abend als Babysitterin bei einer reichen Familie in deren Haus verbringen, als sie einen neuen Follower für ihren Instagram-Account gewinnt. Doch dieser ist anders. Diesen kann sie nicht so leicht loswerden. Doch selbst als Clara ihren Freund Patrick um Hilfe bittet, wird die Situation nur noch schlimmer, denn der Follower hat alles andere als
gute Absichten. Er verfolgt sie nun nicht mehr nur in der digitalen Welt – sondern auch in der realen. Doch Clara gibt nicht auf und verbarrikadiert sich, während Patrick auf dem Weg ist, sie zu retten.

Clara Reichert only wants to spend a casual evening as a babysitter for a rich family in their house, when she gains a new follower for her Instagram account. But this one is different. This one is not easy to shake off. Even as Clara calls her boyfriend Patrick for help, the situation is only getting worse, because the follower has anything but
good intentions. He follows her now not only in the digital world - but also in the real world. But Clara does not give up and barricades herself while Patrick is on his way to save her.
