”The Contessa’s Secret“ (La contessa di Castiglione) is a 1954 historic drama film directed by Georges Combret, who also wrote the screenplay together with Claude Boissol, Leonardo Magagnini and Pierre Maudru.

The Countess of Castiglione, who wishes Italian unity, saves a young patriot, Falengo, at the time of a murder attempt on Victor-Emmanuel II.
