“Cricket On The Hearth” is a 1967 animated family film directed by Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr. The screenplay by Romeo Muller and Arthur Rankin Jr. is based on the 1845 novella “The Cricket on the Hearth: A Fairy Tale of Home” by Charles Dickens.

A cricket seeks to rescue a poor toymaker and his blind daughter from an exploitative miser.
