Der Film fokussiert sich auf die Evolution und Veränderungen im Leben der Menschen aus der Ein-Personen-Perspektive eines Tieres. In „The Quintet of the Sunset (Das Quintett des Sonnenuntergangs)“ leben fünf Katzen mit herausragenden Persönlichkeiten ihr gesundes und glückliches Leben dank der Fürsorge und Liebe ihrer Besitzerin Gina. Als Gina das Ende ihres Lebens erreicht hat, wachen sie auf ihre eigene Weise für immer über Gina und ihre Herzen schlagen eins mit Ginas Herz.

What we expect from the relationship with the animals reveals how we want to be treated and respected. The film focuses on the evolution and changes in the human beings’ life from the first-person perspective of an animal. In „The Quintet of the Sunset“, five cats with distinguished personalities live their healthy and happy lives thanks to the care and love of their owner Gina. When Gina reaches the end of her life, they watch over Gina forever in their own way and their hearts beat as one with Gina’s heart.
Characters, scenes and props are delicate artworks that deliver delicacy and tenderness to the film. This is where stop motion animation differentiates itself from other animation forms. Let’s now set off the touching voyage brought by the extraordinary stop motion animation!
