« Eté 96 » est un court-métrage d’animation de 2023 réalisé par Mathilde Bédouet, qui en a également coécrit le scénario avec Arnaud Bedouët.

Chaque 15 août, Paul, sa famille et leurs amis se retrouvent pour leur traditionnel pique-nique estival sur l’île de Callot, au large des côtes bretonnes. Mais cette année, la marée montante les coupe du continent et les oblige à passer la nuit sur l’île.
Pris entre l’insouciance de l’enfance et les tensions des adultes qui l’entourent, Paul commence à voir sa famille, et lui-même, sous un autre jour.

‘Summer 96’ is a 2023 animated short film directed by Mathilde Bédouet, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Arnaud Bedouët.

Every August 15, Paul, his family and their friends gather for their traditional summer picnic on Callot Island, off the coast of Brittany. But this year, the rising tide cuts them off from the mainland and forces them to spend the night on the island.
Caught between the carefree world of childhood and the tensions of the adults around him, Paul begins to see his family, and himself, differently.

„Sommer 96“ (Eté 96) ist ein animierter Kurzfilm aus dem Jahr 2023 unter der Regie von Mathilde Bédouet, die das Drehbuch gemeinsam mit Arnaud Bedouët verfasste.

Jedes Jahr am 15. August treffen sich Paul, seine Familie und ihre Freunde zu ihrem traditionellen Sommerpicknick auf der Insel Callot vor der Küste der Bretagne. Doch in diesem Jahr schneidet die steigende Flut sie vom Festland ab und zwingt sie, die Nacht auf der Insel zu verbringen.
Gefangen zwischen der unbeschwerten Welt der Kindheit und den Spannungen der Erwachsenen um ihn herum beginnt Paul, seine Familie – und sich selbst – mit anderen Augen zu sehen.
