“The People Who Own The Dark” (Último deseo) is a 1976 post-apocalyptic thriller directed by León Klimovsky from a screenplay by Gabriel Moreno Burgos, Vicente Aranda and Joaquim Jordà.
A group of prominent men (military scientists, businessmen, diplomats, prestigious doctors), staying in a luxurious mansion in the town of Vilemore for a weekend of orgies with high-class prostitutes, witness a nuclear explosion that blinds all humans outside. Fate will cause the men and women in the mansion to become the target of the rage of these blind and crazed characters, who end up acting like zombies besieging the place. There is also no shortage of conflicts among the occupants of the mansion, in whose oppressive microcosm mistrust will begin to arise and a game of survival based on the law of the strongest will be adopted.

Eine Gruppe prominenter Männer (Militärwissenschaftler, Geschäftsleute, Diplomaten, renommierte Ärzte), die sich in einer luxuriösen Villa in der Stadt Vilemore zu einem Wochenende voller Orgien mit hochklassigen Prostituierten aufhalten, wird Zeuge einer nuklearen Explosion, die alle Menschen außerhalb der Villa erblinden lässt. Das Schicksal will es, dass die Männer und Frauen in der Villa zum Ziel der Wut dieser blinden und wahnsinnigen Menschen werden, die sich schließlich wie Zombies verhalten und den Ort belagern. Auch unter den Bewohnern der Villa kommt es zu Konflikten, in deren bedrückendem Mikrokosmos Misstrauen aufkommt und ein Überlebenskampf nach dem Gesetz des Stärkeren beginnt.
