Vincent Doane, an advertising executive, is determined to secure a lucrative account with his wealthy ex-fiancée, Margot Fraser. To avoid arousing the jealousy of his wife, Paula, he conceals Margot’s identity, referring to her as „Mr. Fraser.“ Suspicious of Vincent’s behavior, Paula devises a plan to make him jealous by feigning interest in another man. Unbeknownst to her, this scheme entangles both of them in a series of comedic misunderstandings, testing the strength of their marriage.
