“Chin Up!” (Haut les coeurs!) is a 1999 drama film directed by Sólveig Anspach, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Pierre Erwan Guillaume.

Emma, who is pregnant, learns that she has breast cancer. The first doctors she consults suggest she terminate the pregnancy. With the support of her partner, however, she refuses. The doctors who treat her thereafter enable her to carry her pregnancy to term with dignity. She gives birth to a daughter without any major complications, even though she remains ill.
