“Brand of the Outlaw” is a 1936 western directed by Robert N. Bradbury, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Forbes Parkhill.

Bill Holbrook is falsely accused of a crime committed by the bandit Bat. To clear his name, he breaks out of prison. He discovers that the real Bat has a distinctive brand on his wrist. Bill decides to slip into the role of the outlaw that everyone sees him as. Under this guise, he plans to infiltrate the gang, expose the real Bat, and thus prove his own innocence.
